A New Kind of Romance

Hello ladies and gents,

I came across this organization called More Love Letters a few months ago.  It’s a good hearted group aiming to amp up the good feelings in the world one love letter at a time. Know some one in need of a little boost? Or are you overloaded with cute stationary and holiday stamps? This may be the place for you.

If you sign up, you’ll receive one address per month (unless you request more) with a little background on why this person so desperately needs a love letter. Then you spill your inspirational, honest or advisory voice into a love letter and pop it in the snail mail.

It’s a little act, that for someone might go along way. Plus it’s an excuse to buy a new stationary kit. What more could you ask for? There are several ways to get involved, the website even provides advice on how to get started f you’re a little hazy.

This would be an awesome project for a creative writing class, lover of inspirational quotes, or general uplifting person. One thing I love about this website is that they stress “Own you!” Not everyone writes the same love letter, style or in the same voice. Don’t try to write with someone else’s voice.  Not everyone writes the same letter, but every letter is needed. So get involved! Break out the left over scrap-book paper and gel pens and get to writing that sappy note you’ve been searching for a reason to write. You won’t be sorry.

P.S. Have you ever written a love letter? Are you already on the More Love Letters bandwagon? spill the details below! I’m curious to hear about your stories.
